Oak Island
Oak Island is a Barrier Island located in the Southeastern corner of the North Carolina Coast. Covering over 20 Sq. Miles with more than 13 miles of Atlantic Beaches it is one of the largest islands in North Carolina. Since it was first inhabited in 1838 with the construction of Fort Caswell on the east end Oak Island has grown to become one of the best beaches in North Carolina for residents and visitors alike. With over 65 different public beach access points, plenty of parking and attractive amenities this beach town has a lot to offer.
